In this video, we introduce the machine button on the SWF embroidery machine control panel and explain how it is used to access a wide range of machine settings. We use this button for functions such as converting the machine from flat to caps or from caps to flats, clearing the stitch count, changing functions to improve machine operation, adjusting trim length, adjusting the upper thread sensors, turning the appliqué function on or off, and adjusting or limiting sewing speeds.
We then point out that the machine button works differently from the other buttons on the machine. When we press it, it does not immediately display the actual functions. Instead, it first opens a submenu. What appears on the screen at that stage is only the submenu, not the individual settings themselves.
To enter the available functions, we move the cursor next to one of the submenu choices, such as EMB function, machine function, or default, and then press set. In this demonstration, we place the cursor next to number one, EMB function, and press set to open that submenu. At that point, we are viewing the actual functions contained within the EMB function menu.
