How to Set the Auto Back Function on an SWF Embroidery Machine

In this video, we explain how the auto back function works on an SWF embroidery machine. This setting controls how many stitches the frame automatically moves back when the machine detects a thread break or a bobbin run out. We typically set this to two stitches, so when a thread break occurs, the machine automatically backs up two stitches.

To access the auto back function, we use the up and down button to move the cursor next to the Auto Back setting, then press the Set button. We then enter the number of stitches we want the machine to back up using the numeric keypad.

For this machine, we set the value to three by typing 3 on the keypad and then pressing Set again to lock in the value. This allows the machine to automatically return three stitches whenever it recognizes a thread break or bobbin run out.
