In this video, we explain how to use the offset button on an embroidery machine. The offset function creates an alternate frame position, moving the embroidery frame away from the sewing field and then returning it back again.
We show how this feature is especially useful during applique work. By moving the frame away from the embroidery head, we make it easier to place applique material before returning the frame to the sewing area to continue stitching.
Since offset is mainly used to reposition the frame for applique and placement, it helps to pair it with reliable hoops and hoopers.
