How to Set the Lock Stitch Function on the SWF Embroidery Machine Control Panel

In this video, we explain the lock stitch function on the SWF embroidery machine control panel. This setting allows us to determine how many stitches are placed in a lock stitch position at the beginning or end of a design. It is especially useful for situations such as manual trims, where the machine will automatically place a lock stitch.

If we want the machine to place more than one lock stitch, we can change that value in this function. Using the up-down button, we move the cursor next to the lock stitch setting and then press the set button to open the option.

We can then choose anywhere from one to five lock stitches to be placed down. In this example, we use the standard default of one stitch by pressing 1 on the numeric keypad, then pressing the set button again to save that value.

When you are dialing in start and end lock stitches, consistent embroidery thread can help results look cleaner.
