In this video, we explain how to use the trim inching function on an embroidery machine. This setting adjusts how many stitches are sewn slowly before the machine stops, which gives the bobbin more time to slow down and stop winding while the rotary hook is still spinning at a high rate.
We also use this function to give the machine time to perform the proper lock stitch and to set the proper trim length. To access the setting, we use the up-down button to move the cursor next to trim inching, and we then press the set button.
We then choose a value within the available range of 2 to 5. To give the machine the maximum opportunity to slow down and complete these functions correctly, we set the value to 5 by pressing 5 on the numeric keypad and then pressing the set button again to lock in the value.
When you are adjusting trim behavior on an SWF, the SWF repair, maintenance, and operation DVD set is a solid companion resource.
