How to Adjust the Auto-Jump Stitch Length on an SWF Embroidery Machine

In this video, we show how to adjust the auto-jump function, which sets the longest stitch the machine can sew. Using the up and down controls, we move the cursor next to Auto-Jump and then press the Set button to enter the adjustment.

We then choose the desired stitch length within the available range of 5.0 mm to 12.7 mm. If we look at the screen at the upper end of the range, we may notice that the display shows 12.6 mm even though the setting can be adjusted to 12.7 mm.

We enter 12.7 on the numeric keypad and press the Set button to lock in the value. The screen will show 12.7 at that time, but if we exit the function or power the machine off and back on, the display will return to 12.6. This is only a display quirk, and the machine remains set to sew a 12.7 mm stitch.

If you're dialing in SWF jump-stitch behavior, the SWF repair, maintenance, and operation DVD set may help fill in the details.
