In this video, we demonstrate how to use the memory initial function to delete all designs stored in the embroidery machine’s internal memory. Because the machine has a fixed amount of memory, we occasionally need to clear space so additional designs can be loaded.
We also note that this function removes every design in internal memory at once. If there are designs we want to keep, we should use the design delete function instead, which allows us to remove individual designs without clearing the entire memory.
To perform the memory initial function, we use the up-down control to move the cursor next to Memory Initial, then press the Set button. The machine then asks whether we wish to format. With the cursor already positioned on Yes, we press the Set button again to confirm the function and clear all designs from the machine’s internal memory.
If you're managing designs and memory on an SWF machine, the SWF repair, maintenance, and operation DVD set is the closest match.
