In this video, we explain how the frame limit function sets parameters for a particular frame on the machine. If a design is larger than the selected frame limit, the machine will not allow the trace function to continue, helping confirm whether the design fits within that sewing area.
To adjust this setting, we use the up and down controls to move the cursor to Frame Limit, then press the Set button. If we want to enable a frame limit, we enter a value of 1 for yes on the numeric keypad and then press Set.
In most cases, we leave this setting turned off. Because we often change between caps and flats, or between smaller left chest designs and larger jacket back designs, it is usually easier not to set a frame limit. On this machine, we enter 0 on the numeric keypad and press Set again to lock in the value.
