How to Use the Edit Function on the Standard SWF Embroidery Machine Control Panel

In this video, we review the key functions available under the Edit button on the standard SWF embroidery machine control panel. When we are not sewing a design, the Edit function gives us access to stitch editing, which allows us to change stitch positions and delete stitches as needed.

We also use the Edit function to divide a design when it is too large to sew in a single hooping. This lets us break the design into two separate pieces so we can double hoop and complete the full design as two sections.

When we are in the process of sewing, the Edit function also gives us access to a feature that slows the machine down automatically. This is especially useful for short stitch lengths, small lettering, or metallic thread, where we may not want to run at the same speed as the rest of the design.

After using Edit to refine the design for sewing, keep your machine setup ready with practical embroidery supplies.
