In this video, we explain how to use the Embroidery Call function to bring up a design from the embroidery machine's internal memory. Before using this function, we would already have loaded designs into the machine through the FDD Call function or the External Input function.
With the cursor on Embroidery Call, we press the Set button to open a list of every design stored in internal memory. Using the up and down controls, we move the cursor to the design we want to sew and press Set again. The machine then displays options for Basic Settings, Needle Settings, and Embroidery Call.
From Basic Settings, we can make changes such as size, angle, and pull compensation. Needle Settings allows us to set the size of the design and also set the colors. If we realize we selected the wrong design, we can return to Embroidery Call and start over. If the correct design is loaded and no changes are needed, we simply press the Previous button, and the design is ready to be sewn.
We also note that these menu options match other control panel buttons. The Basic Settings functions are the same as those found under the Settings button, the Needle Settings functions match the Needles button, and the Embroidery Call option corresponds to the Embroidery Call button on the control panel. We then cover those buttons in more detail elsewhere in the training.
If you need more help navigating SWF design selection and memory functions, the SWF repair, maintenance, and operation DVD set is a sensible resource.
