In this video, we show how to use the design divide function to take one large design and break it into two smaller designs. This function is used when a design needs to be separated into two parts for storage in different memory locations.
Using the up-down control, we move the cursor next to Design Divide and press the Set button. We then enter the stitch number where we want the design to divide, and press Set again to confirm that stitch location.
The machine then asks where to store the second half of the design. It automatically defaults to the earliest room available, so we simply press Set to accept that room number. It then looks for the place to put the second half of the design, again showing the earliest room available, and we press Set to accept that value.
Once those values are confirmed, the machine divides the original large design into two smaller pieces and stores them in separate memory locations. In this example, the two parts are placed into memory locations 5 and 6.
Since divided designs often mean multiple hoopings and alignment passes, keep the process consistent with dependable embroidery supplies.
