In this video, we show how to send a job to a Toyota ESP 9100 embroidery machine using the communications driver. First, we double-click the communications driver icon on the desktop. Once it opens, we then open the Forte embroidery program.
Next, we go into the design database and locate a design. After bringing the design onto the main screen, we make sure to click the center icon before preparing for embroidery. We then click the prepare for embroidery icon. When the program asks whether we want to prepare the design for embroidery, we click OK. Once the job number has been assigned, we are ready to enter that number into the embroidery machine.
To put the job number into the machine, we first turn the machine on and press Set at the hoop mode. From there, we go to Start Point Data. The input data should be set to PC. We press the Set key, enter the job number assigned by the computer, and press Set again. The data light should begin blinking, which means communication has been established and the job is being sent to the machine. When the transfer is complete, the machine beeps once and the data light returns to a solid green.
Next, we enter the needle numbers. The display may show 1 of 4, indicating that there are four color changes in the design. After entering all of the needle changes, we press the Set key, and then the machine is ready to trace and sew.
After sending a design to the Toyota ESP 9100 with the communications driver, support the finished stitch-out properly with embroidery stabilizer.
