How to Configure a Toyota ESP 9100 for a COM Driver

In this video, we set up communications for a Toyota ESP 9100 embroidery machine using the communications driver. We begin by removing the cover on the control panel to expose the DIP switches. Then we take the bottom DIP switch, switch 1-1, and flip it to the down, or on, position.

After turning the machine on, it enters test mode. From there, we press Set, then Set again, and then Set a third time. Next, we arrow down once to the Comm Speed setting and change it from 38.4 to 9600. Once 9600 is selected, we press Set to confirm the change.

To finish the machine setup for the communications driver, we turn off DIP switch 1-1. Then we move the very top DIP switch, switch 2-8, to the on position. After turning the machine off and back on again, the machine is ready for software setup.

Once your Toyota ESP 9100 is configured for the COM driver, be ready to stitch out test runs with quality Madeira thread.
