In this video, we show how to edit a design after it has been sent to the machine by using the Edit menu. We press the Edit button to open the menu, where the first option is Rotate. Rotation changes the angle at which the design embroiders. The default setting is zero, and we use the right arrow key to select the rotation angle in 90-degree increments up to 270 degrees. Once the desired angle is selected, we press Set to confirm.
We then press the Edit key again to return to the Edit menu and use the down arrow to choose the mirror function. In this menu, the X-axis is vertical and the Y-axis is horizontal. From there, we can continue using the down arrow on the control panel to access the repeat feature.
The repeat feature stitches the same design more than once in the same hoop, which is useful for projects such as patches. We press Set to open the three repeat settings, then use the right arrow key to choose vertical or horizontal. Next, we enter the number of times to repeat the design, from 1 to 9, and then set the amount of space between each design from 0 to 255 millimeters.
After the settings are entered, we press Set to confirm the selection. It is important to remember that the spacing value is measured in millimeters, not inches. As a reference, 6 millimeters equals one quarter of an inch.
If your edited design adds more stitch coverage or repeats, pair it with the right support using embroidery stabilizer.
