In this video, we show how to configure a Toyota ESP 9100 machine to communicate with Expert Stitch Manager. We begin at the right-hand side of the control panel, where a cover can be moved out of the way or unscrewed to access two banks of DIP switches labeled DSW1 and DSW2.
We then locate the bottom switch on DSW1, which is the switch closest to the floor, and move it to the down, or on, position. After flipping this bottom DIP switch on, we turn the machine on. The machine first displays the welcome screen and then enters test mode.
From test mode, we press the Set key once and then a second time to reach the panel and network settings. We press Set a third time under network settings, arrow down to COM speed, and confirm that it is set to the highest rate, 38400. Once that setting has been confirmed, we press the Set key again.
After that, we switch the bottom DIP switch back to the off position. We then turn the machine off and back on again, which returns it to regular sewing mode. At that point, the machine is ready to be configured for Expert Stitch Manager on the computer.
After configuring your Toyota ESP 9100 for Expert Stitch Manager, set up for a smoother sewout with the right embroidery stabilizer.
