How to Load a Design With the Embroidery Machine Disk Reader

In this video, we show how to transfer a design from a PC to the embroidery machine using the disk reader. We first save the design to a 3.5-inch floppy disk, making sure the file is saved as a DST file. For details on saving the design to the disk, we refer to the software manual.

We then plug the disk reader into the FDD connection port located next to the serial connector on the back of the embroidery machine, and turn the machine on. To begin loading the design, we press the Start Point key, then press the Data key.

Next, we press the right arrow key to select 335 and press Set. We use the up and down arrow keys to select the design, then press Set again. After that, we enter the needle number colors and press Set to confirm.

Before embroidering, we trace the design with the active needle. This helps us confirm the design position before stitching begins.
