Toyota ESP 9100 Machine Stabilization and Stand Setup

In this video, we stabilize the Toyota ESP 9100 by first removing the four feet from underneath the machine. The easiest way to do this is to place the retainer bar from the machine crate underneath the machine and use it for leverage. We then use a standard crescent wrench to unbolt and remove each foot.

Once the feet have been removed, we take out the retainer bar and set the machine onto the workstation. We then lift the stand and move it onto the workstation as well. This step requires two people, since the machine weighs roughly 186 pounds, so we make sure to lift carefully and use proper lifting technique.

Next, we secure the machine to the work stand with the four bolts, installing them from the bottom of the stand up into the machine. As we insert each bolt, we do not tighten it immediately. We seat all four bolts first, finger-tighten them, and then use a half-inch socket wrench to finish tightening each one as securely as possible.

Finally, we raise the telescoping thread stand. Using a 2 millimeter Allen wrench, we loosen the bolts, lift the stand to the housing mark, and tighten it back down. Once it is tightened securely, the stand is set and the machine is ready to go.

After securing your ESP 9100 and raising the stand, it can be useful to keep essential embroidery supplies nearby.
