In this video, we cover a quick tip for fine-tuning the spacing between letters in Melco DesignShop Pro. We start by creating a new file, selecting the lettering icon, clicking on the screen, typing the desired text, and then clicking OK.
To adjust the spacing, we hold down the Shift key and left-click on an individual letter. A box appears around that letter, and we can then move it to the left or right to place it exactly where we want. This allows us to fine-tune the spacing of each letter individually for better-looking lettering.
If we want a closer view while making adjustments, we can zoom in and continue refining the placement. By keeping the Shift key pressed, selecting a letter, and moving it as needed, we can make precise spacing changes throughout the word or design.
Precisely spaced lettering is easier to hold steady in the right hoops and hoopers.
