In this video, we show how to grease another important spot on the embroidery machine head: the area where the head rail mounts to the machine. We first locate the rail and note the existing film of grease on its surface.
We then remove the old grease, taking care to clean away any lint and dirt trapped in it. The rail should be cleaned as thoroughly as possible before fresh grease is applied.
Once the area is clean, we apply a nice film of clean grease to the front side, top side, and bottom side of the rail. After finishing one side, we use the numeric keypad to move to the opposite side of the embroidery head and repeat the same process there.
