Toyota ESP 9100 Greasing Intervals and Lubrication Points

In this video, we show how to perform the regular greasing service on a Toyota ESP 9100 embroidery machine. To complete the procedure, we use a Phillips head screwdriver and a bottle of lithium-based grease. We begin by removing the left and right base covers, the rear base cover, and the cover for the pantograph so we can access the required lubrication points.

Once the covers are removed, we grease the three-month service points first. We apply a light coating of grease to the left and right side rails, using a finger to spread it evenly up and down each rail. We then grease the rail inside the pantograph by applying a light coating along one side, moving the pantograph, and repeating on the other side.

Next, we grease the cam rollers by applying a light coating of grease across the top and bottom of each cam. The final three-month greasing point is the rail behind the head of the machine, where we again apply a light coating of grease across the rail.

The last lubrication point shown is a six-month greasing spot: the cam behind the head of the machine, located under the cam cover. For this area, we use a more generous amount of grease, about a dime- to quarter-sized amount, and work it into and around the cam. We can turn the manual knob to reach the rest of the cam, and then the greasing procedure is complete.
