Manual Operation Controls for Embroidery Machines

In this video, we explain the machine’s basic manual operation controls. In Auto mode, the machine automatically changes needles or colors while stitching, but we can also change colors individually in Manual mode. We press the Auto-Manual key to switch between modes, and the indicator light shows when Manual mode is active. While in Manual mode, we press the color change keys to move the needle case, then press the Auto-Manual key again to return to Auto mode.

We then review the main operating keys. For normal operation, we use the Start key to begin stitching and the Stop key to pause stitching at any time. If we need to stop all machine functions immediately, we press the Emergency Stop button. We can also press the Start Point key to reset the machine back to the Embroidery Start position. When this key is pressed, the LCD asks us to confirm cancellation of the current job, and we press the Set key to complete the reset.

Before embroidering, we use the Trace key to outline the dimensions of the design and confirm that it fits within the selected hoop. When we rapidly press the Trace key twice, the machine stops at the next corner, and when we press it once again, it completes the full trace. This function is only available before embroidery begins. We can also manually adjust embroidery speed by sliding the speed control switch right or left, and we use the Trimming key whenever a manual trim is needed.

Finally, we use the Forward and Back keys to move through the design without stitching. After pressing the Mode key, we choose how to move through the design by single stitch, ten stitches, hundred stitches, color change position, or stitch number. In Color mode, we move to the next color change, and in End Stitch mode, we enter a specific stitch number with the keypad and press the Set key to stop at that exact stitch. If we press and hold the Forward button, the machine continues moving through the design until we press Stop or it reaches the end of that color section.
