In this video, we show how to check the needle case position on an embroidery machine. Proper needle case alignment is necessary for the machine to function correctly. If the needle case is not positioned properly, an LCD message will flash and the machine will not operate.
We first check the lower right-hand corner of the LCD to confirm that a needle number appears. This indicates that the needle case is in the correct position for operation.
If no needle number appears, we rotate the manual operation hand wheel until a needle number displays on the screen. Once the number appears, the needle case is aligned and the machine is ready to operate.
Since needle case issues often go hand in hand with needle service checks, keep embroidery needles nearby.
