THE X OR Y AXIS OR BOTH WILL NOT MOVE WHEN TRYING TO SET HOME:

Try powering the machine off, wait 20 seconds, and power on again. Try setting home again.
Reseat the CPU & 4 Axis PCBs as outlined in the Technical Manual where it shows how to replace the 2-PCBs.
Test the 5 volt setting as outlined on page 1.
If the machine display shows "Not At Head Up", Check to see if the Needle Case is On Color Index. Use the Head Timing Menu to Go To Head Up after adjusting the needle case back on index.
