In this video, we walk through setting up the embroidery machine for different hoop sizes. To install the arms for embroidery on flat or tubular items, we gather two tubular arms, four Allen head screws, and a four-millimeter Allen wrench. The setup shown is for 9, 12, 15, and 18-centimeter round hoops. For the right arm, we use the holes one position inward from the outermost right holes on the pantograph. The outermost holes are not used for these hoops. After placing the right arm, we insert the screws but leave them loose for now.
Next, we cover the placement of the left arm. The same inward holes are used for 9, 12, 15, and 18 cm hoops, while different holes are used for the large jacket back hoop. It is important to note that the outermost holes on both sides of the pantograph are reserved exclusively for the border frame.
To set up the machine for tubular sewing, we install the arms, insert the screws, and snug them without fully tightening. We place the hoop into the arms, push them snug against the hoop, and gently pull the arms toward ourselves. We then tighten one screw on the right arm, followed by one screw on the left arm. Once the arms are securely positioned, we tighten the remaining screws. With this, the machine is fully set up for tubular sewing and ready for operation.
