heat press the sleeves to get a strait center vertical line, then line up my size 15 circular hoop accordingly. I'm usually only embroidering 2 lines of text for the sleeve. The top of the hoop I usually measure about 1" from the shoulder seam. Hope this works for you. It works out great for me.
