Using the EDIT function on the SWF embroidery control panel

How do I use the EDIT funciton on a SWF Standard Commercial Embroidery Machine control panel? Here is a training video that can show you how to use the EDIT function on your SWF standard commercial embroidery machine control panel. This control panel is different than the embroidery machine LCD control panel that is popular now. Every embroidery machine has a control panel that controls the machine and they may look different but actually have most of the same functions. All embroidery machines control panels including Tajima, SWF, HAPPY, Melco and Toyota embroidery machines and at least a LED read out or a LCD readout. The EDIT function allows you to speed up or slow down your machine in the control panel so that is copies those settings for every additional design you sew. This is helpful for doing jacket backs with large areas of fill that you wish your machine would just automatically speed up in that area and then slow down when it gets to the tight satin stitches or run stitches. This is a function that is in both the standard machine and the compact machines and is usually overlooked or people just dont know about it. How do I LOAD a design?
Insert the design disk into the floppy disk drive. The floppy disk drive is located on the right side of the control panel.
Press the EMB.CALL button or (IN-OUT button)
Press the green DOWN button on the LCD menu indication screen to access the FDD CALL command.
Press the SET button. The machine will display all of the designs located on the floppy disk.
Scroll to the desired design name by using the green UP or DOWN button on the LCD menu indication screen.
Press the SET button. The line SELECT EMPTY ROOM will appear on the screen followed by a number. Unless a change is necessary, press the SET button.
How do I put in my basic setting?
Go to 1. BASIC SETTING
Press the SETTING button. Using the DOWN key to 3. Angle the input 0-for Flat and 180- for Caps.
Press the SET button.
How do I put in my needles (colors for design)?
Go to 2. NEEDLE SETTING
Press the SETTING button. Input needle number using number keys.
Press the SET button.

How do I ROTATE my design?
Load the design as normal. Press the SETTING button.
Press the DOWN button on the LCD menu indication screen twice to access the ANGLE command.
Press the SET button.
Change the setting by typing in the desired angle; i.e. 180. Press the SET button.
Press the PREVIOUS button.
